good afternoon,

I believe I have everything downloaded like I should have and I'm pretty sure that I've established a secure VPN with cisco. For some reason I cannot see this import button like on the instructions under lab topology. it says I have about 7 hours left for Cisco modeling lab. I'm not very computer savvy but I think with a bit more instruction, I can figure it out. Thank you for any help that you can offer me.

Hi @elijah-montalvo7

Which lab are you running? What exactly "import button" do you mean?
If you are using Cisco Modeling Labs sandbox, you can see if you can reach CML server hosted in a lab: https://10.10.20.161 - if so, then you are connected and you are ready to go.

Also, you can verify your connection status on a Secure Client (Anyconnect) VPN.

Let me know if additional help is needed.

Thank you for such a quick response. I was following the directions to
practice “configure your first ACL” but had a problem importing
CNA-topology.yami once I got everything downloaded. I’m not to great using
a computer but I am hungry to learn a new skill.

Hi,

Unfortunately, I cannot open that on my end either. Can you check and repost?
The CML sandbox direct link is https://devnetsandbox.cisco.com/DevNet/catalog/cml-sandbox#instructions
Right now, all CML spaces are active so you will need to wait until a space becomes available before your can launch.
Joe

@elijah-montalvo7 i saw another user post this same question - the third party who you are following for lab, is going overkill asking you to use CML here, this task can be completed on one of the always on sandboxes such as the IOS XE. The CML sandbox is very popular and getting a reservation for a task like this will only slow your learning down.

Check the sandbox catlog for always on devices and use these instead.

Hope this helps.
