Introduction

This white paper will guide the user through the new settings for UCS CIMC/KVM IP addresses. There are now more options introduced in UCS 1.4.1 that allow for static IP addresses to be set for bare metal servers and for Service Profiles. So now a KVM IP address can be part of a Service Profile and never change regardless of what server is associated. This paper walks through the new features, configurations, and limitations.

Related Documents

Configuring LDAP AD for UCS 1.4.1 and above

Intregrating C-Series servers with UCS 1.4.1 and above
