topic startIdleTimer value for SECD 7945 running 9.4.2SR1 in IP Telephony and Phones

I'm having intermittent issues posting to the XML interface of a number of 7945s running 9.4.2SR1.

I'll send one post and the phone doesn't even try to authenticate or validate the server cert via TVS, it just kills the connection:

NOT 00:00:20.494699 SECD: startIdleTimer: Starting Idle timer

ERR 00:00:20.500305 JVM: Accepted AppSrvr connection for connid : 0

NOT 00:00:23.001434 SECD: clpAppSrvrRd: app srvr closed conn to <X.X.X.X> c:9 s:10

NOT 00:00:23.002212 SECD: clpDelTlsSrvrProxyConn: closing conn to <X.X.X.X>, c:9, s:10

ERR 00:00:23.020159 JVM: Calling enable listening for incoming http connections

INF 00:00:24.628577 no buffer to recve, force EHOSTDOWN

There is about 2.5 seconds between the timer start notice and the app server closed notice. Is this a timer issue? Is it possible that the server from which I'm posting is taking too long from the time it sets up the TLS connection to the time it actually sends the HTTPS POST?
