Hi,

Do we have any configuration in Cisco, which allows the internal calls between two IP phones to be routed via Cisco voice gateways. In Avaya we have the feature called Hair pinning and if it disabled, the internal calls between IP phones are routed via gateways.

Thanks

Karthi Devaraj

in what scenario? CUCM? in which case the answer is no.

can you explain what your setup is and what problem you are trying to resolve

thanks

Hi,

We are trying to configure voice recording by mirroring the voice gateway ports. This will only provide the incoming and outgoing calls. Hence want to explore, if there is any option to bring the RTP flow leveraging the gateway for internal calls, so the recording can be performed for all scenarios.

Customer doesnt want to do BIB or NBR based option, as parallel recording wont be possible and they cant upgrade to CUCM 12.5 to achieve the Multi Forking capability, as upgrade is not under plans as of now.

Thanks

Karthi
