9951 phone and headset Cisco 561 Wireless

Hello

Trying to get Cisco 561 Bluetooth headset connected to a 9951 phone. When i plug it in via the USB A port I am getting on the phone stating "The Cisco 56x MB has been detected but is disabled by the administrator". In CUCM I checked that the USB ports are enabled in System>Enterprise Phone Configuration. I did see an a different posting about having to possibly upgrade the firmware on the phone? Anyone have thoughts on this? I am not familiar with upgrading firmware on phones.

I don't think those phone support the new head phones. Those phones has been reached EOl 2021.

I hope you are wrong but I am wondering that myself. I bought it from B&H. I worked with one of their support folks and they said "The Cisco 9951 uses bluetooth for its wireless connection, so while the 562 Monaural Headset is not compatible, the 561 Monaural headset with the bluetooth enabled Multibase station should be compatible compatible with the Cisco 9951."
