840 Action Buttons

I wanted to make one of the action buttons on my 840 phone simply speed dial to a common number however it seems like you need to use the button app and you are limited to a few options. There are "custom" options but it wants us to use an app developer or something for it. Is there a simple way to assign a speed dial to one of these action buttons?

i would personally just leave these alone if you have a lot of these to deal with because the speed dial may get stale/old and what are the chances you will ever go back and change them again.

Speed dials are accessed from the Cisco Phone App for 800 series phones. To configure the buttons, you need to use the API option
