Cisco Cloud Web Security (CWS) on Router 897VA

Hello

I need to know if there is some possibilities to use Cisco Cloud Web Security (CWS) on Router 897VA.

In some document there is indication of support for ISR G2 890 serie, in other I find support only for some model:

891, 891W, 892, 892F, 892FW, 892W

I would like to know if there are some possibilities to implement URL filtering on Router 897VA that our customer bought for support TrendMicro (Eos).

Hi Gianpiero,

Refer to Table 3 , as per 890 ISR data sheet CWS is supported on Router 897VA .

Make sure you run 15.3 and higher IOS image and cross check #show content-scan summary ( OR ) #show cws summary command does exist in router.

In the link below it is indicated that aonly some models of 890 serie support Cloud Web Security services:

Can you confirm, in your experience that 897VA can be configured for using with Cloud Web Security?

If yes, I have to consider mandatorily the Adveanced Security Feature Pack?
