Umbrella with SD-WAN Integration

Dear All,

I understood, it's simple integration just copy the Umbrella Token API and input in to vManage dashboard and configure/apply Umbrella policy from vManage to all VPN or per-VPN or optionally enable enable DNScrypt.(vManage able to push the policy to Umbrella)

SD-WAN (vManage) managed by Group-A people and Umbrella policy managed by Group-B people

Can you please clarify whether Group-B people able to apply the policy to VPN/pre-VPN (same like vManage) from Umbrella admin dashboard? Or Do they need a vManage write access?

Hi there,

vManage managed by Group-A will just push umbrella connector configuration to cEdge nodes so DNS requests will be redirected to Umbrella cloud resolvers.

All security policies configuration needs to be done in Umbrella dashboard managed by Group-B, no need to provide access to vManage for them.
