Remote Control API for DMP 4310

Hello,

We are currently writing a small webpage application for our DMP 4310 (firmware 5.4.1(RB1)) and we want to add some user interaction capability through the DMP's remote control. Is there a javascript API for the DMP that will allow us to listen or bind to DMP remote control events? For example, if 'stop' is pressed on the remote control, is there away to fire a javascript function?

Any help would be appreciated.
