I am currently learning GNS3 and I am aware that I need to obtain the relevant images/licenses. Is anyone aware of what I need to purchase exactly? Is it ' Cisco Modeling Labs - Personal'

No, you don't necessarily need to purchase Cisco Modeling Labs (CML) Personal if you're using GNS3, Note however, that Cisco images are copyrighted and available through a Cisco service contract. It is not suggest or encourage the use of unauthorized sources/websites to download them, Cisco images from here https://software.cisco.com/

The Cisco VM images that are provided for download with Cisco Modeling Labs or as part of the CML refplat ISO file are only licensed for use within Cisco Modeling Labs. Downloading these VM images and using them outside Cisco Modeling Labs without a proper license is prohibited.

there is GNS3 forum; any info regarding imaging over there? I would check first if CML images will work in gns

I actually just purchased the "Cisco Modeling Labs" formally "VIRL" for $199 but nowhere is explained on the page for downloading images for gns3. Do you know the link or repo that has all of the CML images that I can download to use in gns3?
