I'm trying to connect to the Firepower Management Center API at:

https://fmcrestapisandbox.cisco.com/api/api-explorer/

But I'm getting an error:Firepower Management Center API

Were you trying using a browser, or python or postman?

Did you provide the provided credentials?

Did you connect within the timeframe of the sandbox?
When activating the sandbox, you can either specify a duration or end time, and you can only connect after you've received the "Your Cisco DevNet sandbox lab is ready" email, but before you reach the end time, otherwise you need to reserve/launch a new sandbox and you'll get new credentials.

Essentially, HTTP 401 means unauthorized - ie you provided invalid credentials. Could it be you either mistyped it or accidentially had a leading or trailing space when copy-pasting?

Hi @c.keller

When using api explorer in FMC you'll be prompted for credentials in a pop-up. Be sure your browser doesn't block any of them. Please also try with a different browser.

Access credentials are generated when you launch "Firepower Management Center" lab on https://devnetsandbox.cisco.com/

Here's example of screen after spinning up that lab - you can find credentials there:

I'll try a different browser; I'm getting the credentials on the page you screen printed and, in an email, but I'm not getting to a point to use the credentials.
