Sandbox Beta Testing - We need your help :)

Hi Sandbox Community,

We need your help!!

We have a small team and testing is always a challenge. We always look for ways to improve quality and I believe this community can help.

We are setting up a new sandbox space for beta testing new labs. This is separate to the current production DevNet space. Any new labs coming online will be available here for a few weeks before we promote to production.

If any of you would like to be included in this space, please reach out to me. We would ask that you spin up any new labs and provide feedback on your experience. I will be limiting the participants to something manageable so reach out ASAP. In return, we can extend reservations in the production space and do what we can to repay your time.

do we need any kind of experience with any specific products? Or is the beta testing only related to the spin up process?

Hi Philippe,

Great question. Quick answer is no. I see the testing as pretty high level starting out and focusing on the instructions we provide (any maybe going through a learning lab if available). Of course, if you have more experience you can go deeper and provide recommendations.

Basic items would be:

Launching the lab
Accessing to VMs and services.

VPN functionality and load times.
Some simple use cases to verify specific functionality I.e. API calls

Access to any cloud resources
Are the instructions clear and make sense?

Recommendations

We will formalise this more as we proceed.

Count me in, Joe! I spent a lot of time in Sandbox when preparing for DevNet Expert, I’d love to see upcoming updates to the platform that saved me multiple times 😄

I think 6-10 is a manageable number to start off with. Once we get a process going, we can open it up again.
