topic CML DevBox Login in DevNet Sandbox

Hello,
I'm working on developing my understanding and skill with Automation, and using Netmiko.
I'm using my MacBook Air to launch my DevNet CML labs, and using VScode to write my scripts and the VScode SSH extension to allow Netmiko to ssh into the devices.
BUT at first I was trying to get into the DevBox because I found out that VM usually is pre-loaded with Netmiko.
The issue I had with the DevBox was that I couldn't log in through my Windows App.
Why?
Because the password in the IP, login, etc on the right side of the DevNet interface lists the DevBox password as C1sco12345.
But I finally noticed today in the active status card of the VM that the actual password is C1sco12345! (with an exclamation mark).

So if anyone is trying to log in to the DevBox, ignore those instructions, and look at the password in the status card.
Ughhh.

Thanks for info, critical one. You can also build home lab to do automation. You need GNS3 and 2 images, router and switch. David Bomai has video course thst shows you how to do it step by step. I think the course is "automation for network engineers "

He alao has some other grest courses. You can find him on youtube , the course might be a free one by now .... who knows.

See https://youtu.be/gbwp6xkYRvs?si=cQV0mEZT9wKAFU8e
