Integrating with SPARK

I am very new to Spark so please forgive utter ignorance of Spark capabilities.

I am part of a team considering integrating a web based product with Spark.

Conceptually speaking, can I expect Spark to be able to capture data from within Spark without having to leave Spark and get into the app we are trying to integrate? Additionally, I was planning to deliver output of the app as a PDF that can be displayed within Spark. Should I be considering other ways to deploy App output?

Could any of you help point me to documents that shed light on these issues?

On top of that, spark has very good developer docs, you can start digging here: https://developer.ciscospark.com/

There is a lot you can do with spark, and analyzing what you posted above you probably want to take a look at bots. Bots can send messages, (including attachments, such as PDFs https://developer.ciscospark.com/resource-messages.html) and also read messages within rooms.
