VIRL - Sandbox - Adding Node Images

Hello!

My apologies in advance if my question was already answered in a previous post, I couldn’t find mention of one.

I’m attempting to add a new VM (such as a Palo Alto FW or Windows Server) image into my Sandbox Lab (Open NX-OS with Nexus 9Kv). I’ve been able to navigate to where I think one would perform this activity, that being “UWM/Node resources/Images” and then selecting the “Add” button on the far right hand side of the Images window. However in the next page and after selecting the option to upload from My PC, I’m warned that I should instead copy directly to the VIRL server, rather than through the webpage. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find any credentials other than for HTTP access.

Please let me know if I’m going about this incorrectly or if this is even something allowed to be done.

I believe ... you can only add devices that are in the inventory.

You cannot add your own device.
