How to avoid potential issues when using the manual CSV file import feature

As many of you know, within the Smart Net Total Care portal, there is the option of manually importing device data. This feature provides a simple way to start using the Smart Net Total portal without having to deploy a collector on your network. It is also useful if you want to add devices that you may not be able to access via the collector - such as offline spares.

Though the format of the file is very simple and only requires 4 data fields to get started, issues can arise when users submit multiple concurrent import requests.

For every account, it is highly recommended that users refrain from submitting multiple parallel requests. Users should wait until their prior import request is completed before submitting an addition import request.
