Is this problem happening on a new install device, or has this device been updating before?

Can you try on the cli to run telnet, follow the promprt, and telnet to updates.ironport.com on port 80.

When selecting which interface, select the interface based on the routing you have configured.

Otherwise it will help to know what interfaces are configured, what is the routing look like, and you can also do packet capture on the GUI interface, to determine if the traffic for update is seen leaving the WSA, and if it is being responded to.

I hope this information helps you in troubleshooting further.

Regards

I tried telneting updates.ironport.com on port 80 using management interface (the routing interface) and it was okay.

Sorry, but how can I do packet capture using GUI interface ?

p.s. meantime we have opened a support case with Ironport.

Regards,

Ilir
