Hardware? you should have

Hardware? you should have gotten feature keys in email, that you assign via System Administration/Feature Keys

You could also just click on Check for New Keys, and it should download them.

If you are running the VM, you can ftp the xml on to the box, or ssh/telnet to the box and paste into the cli. That is covered here: (on page 7)

http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/security/content_security/virtual_appliances/Cisco_Content_Security_Virtual_Appliance_Install_Guide.pdf

hi,

in 7.7 there is no option of loadlicense coming, for the ssh cut and paste.

its 8.5 there is an option but not in 7.7. the only option is coming is featurekey thats it. The xml file is not loading through FTP as there is no option.

Is there any alternative through GUI for the appliance or not?

If you have XML license file

If you have XML license file then log in to appliance through SSH and run command "loadlicense". Choose option 1 - and paste the whole content of the XML file to the terminal.

As Ken already said, if you don't have XML license file then you can copy and paste feature keys (long string that consist of letters and numbers) through GUI -> System Administration -> Feature Keys.

Or you can click on the button "Check for new keys" to automatically check if there are any new keys assigned to your appliance.
