They are actually zip files. You may even rename them to .zip and open
> the xml files inside the zip.
>
> So, at the moment, the WSA is recognizing this files as zip only.
>
> The workaround would be to create a Custom Category and regular
> expressions to match on the file extensions.
>
> I will submit a Feature Request so our engineers can analyze the
> possibility of detecting this kind of files.

W8&c 😄

Thx for support !

hi i got a problem with docx files
Ironport S160 (AsyncOs v6.3.0-604) recognizes it as application/x-zip. I know why!

Office 2007 files are XML contained within a zip file.

I would like the s160 recognizes docx files as application/x-docx and not as x-zip, because i block zip extentsion but not office2007 files.

<Web> -
1257181728.495 309 192.168.0.97 TCP_DENIED/403 3706 GET http://65.55.81.87/att/GetAttachment.aspx?file=2d8b35f9-3c42-4c47-959b-b148074f5025.docx&ct=YX...blablabla...."ENSEIGNEMENT\09039@AD" DIRECT/65.55.81.87 application/x-zip BLOCK_ADMIN_FILE_TYPE-etudiant-REALM_AD-NONE-NONE-DefaultRouting

what can i do?

thx

It sounds like you should contact customer support, and if it becomes necessary, they can open a bug or a feature request with engineering to change this (depending on what they say the problem is/isn't).

Cheers,
Jennie
