topic Content replication with CSS in Application Networking

I'm currently in the process of evaluating a few different content networking devices, and I see that the CSS does have the ability to replicate website content between servers in a webfarm, as well as create a staging area. Has anyone had any experience setting this up? How does it compare in reliability to a software replication agent running on each server? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, the CSS does have the ability to do Content Staging and Replication. You can find a sample configuration at: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/117/staging_rep_config.html

And the complete documentation for the current release is located here:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/webscale/css/css_500/advcfggd/contrep.htm

Regards,

-Steve
