I use an ACE4710 pair in failover.

The WAN side is in VLAN 7 and the LAN side in VLAN 8. RealServers have private IP (192.168...) and Virtual IP of the service is a public internet address.

The ServerFarm is a Apache2 WebServer farm (only port 80).

The service is up from 2 days and here are the stats:

# sh stats conn

+------------------------------------------+

+------- Connection statistics ------------+

+------------------------------------------+

Total Connections Created : 86132

Total Connections Current : 485

Total Connections Destroyed: 46322

Total Connections Timed-out: 1867

Total Connections Failed : 37458

All the services seem to be fine from me, but where these "Connections Failed" could come from??

Thanks for any idea,

Regards,

Hugues.

ok, your version should have the fix.

I was thinking about the following ddts :

CSCsh14278 - sh serverfarm failure conn incremented for successful connection

You will need to open a service request with the TAC so we can investigate further.

We will need a sniffer trace capture during the problem.

Start the trace, check the counter, and when there is a failure stop the trace.

G.
