Question regarding http-cookie value

Hi,

I have configured http-cookie based stickiness. When i am executing "show sticky database sticky http-cookie <cookie-vlaue>" it is not showing anything. But when i am executing the command "show sticky database sticky" i am able to see the entries.

My question is that what is the cookie-value in the command mentioned above.

I have the Setcookie as shown below:

Set-Cookie: ciscoindia=R1187312271.

I have tried with R1187312271 as the cookie value and it isn't showing anything.

Please provide with your inputs.

Hi Nitesh,

First tell me on which device you have confred http-cookie.

On ACE device or CSS or GSS.

"show sticky database sticky http-cookie "

can be run on ACE

and

"show sticky database sticky" can be run on GSS /CSS.

After knowing the device your answer can be given more specifically.

Its ACE and "show sticky database sticky" can be run on ACE as well.

They are using A2(1.0) release.

Hi Nitesh,

The configuration you have send of the context to me does not contain any sticky configuration command.

Containing only probes, rserver, serverfarm, class-maps, policy maps.

Kindly send me the output for

#show sticky database sticky

and

#show running-config sticky

for the context containg sticky commands.

Also have you saved your configuration after adding http-cookie command.

Please let me know
