The 4 CE's on level 2 will elect a location leader which will get the content from the level 1 root CE. This will then replicate the content to all the other CE's on that level in that location. You need to create a seperate location for each individual CE on level 3.

What will happen is all the level 3 CE's will hash out to a level 2 CE to get there content hence will give a for a load balancing across all the level 2 CE's

Phil

In ACNS 5.X when you set up a hierarchical location tree, how does distribution allocation occur???

By this i mean that if i have 3 location levels, level 1, level 2 and level 3, with

1 root CE in level 1,

        4 CEs in level 2

             400 CEs in level 3,

how does the ACNS software decide which level 2 CE the level 3 CEs replicate content from?? does it balance across the available CEs automatically?
