Hello,

Could someone confirm that a command "module clear-config" applied on 6513 catalyst

from the global configuration mode before you physically remove the module does

what it should?

According to the command description, while this command exists in config, after

removing the module from chassis the related module configuration will be removed also.

Will it be module configuration removed completelly from 6513 configuration or will it be

removed from the "show run" output only?

This command was added in 12.2(18)SXD code par CSCed83035. All it does it suppress the output from a module that is not physically inside of a chassis if you issue "show run" It is still present, and will reappear if you enter in "no module clear-config" or if you re-insert the module.
