Kevin,

Maybe this can help:

1: Open telnet / ssh to router where NME is installed, Please open 2 sessions.
2: On first session, issue command "service-module integrated-service-engine0/0 session"
Please use the correct module number in your case. You will see login prompt for WAAS,
however you do not have password to login
3: On Second CLI session, Please issue "service-module integrated-service-engine0/0
reload"
4: Watch NME reload process on first CLI session. At after end of the boot process you
would see the option to bypass Authentication "disable login security". This would let you
login with admin account with no password.

Jorge

Can anyone let me know how to recover or change the password for a NNE-WAE-522.

I have tried

Router# service-module intergrated-Service-Engine 1/0 reset.

Straight away tried

Router# service-module intergrated-Service-Engine 1/0 session clear

Router# service-module intergrated-Service-Engine 1/0 session

I have seen some advice to change the boot flag when it starts to boot. But you don't get to see the boot process and ther is no option to interrupt it, or change it.

I have tried it with the reload as well as the rest and still it just goes back to login prompt.

Thanks you in advance.

I have also tried to remove the Compact flash then typeing in

Router# service-module intergrated-Service-Engine 1/0 reset.

to see if i could get in to change the bootflag But it still comes back to the loging prompt asking for the username and password which admin and default will not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Message was edited by: kevin simmonds
