Hi Guys,

Bit new to this 674, when i try to configure an etherchannel group in the lan port it gives me error.

waecf23(config)#int gigabitEthernet 0/0

waecf23(config-if)#no shutdown

This interface can't be brought up

(No IP address, bridge-group, channel-group or standby configuration).

waecf23(config-if)#ip address 10.55.40.200 255.255.0.0

waecf23(config-if)#channel-group 1

GigabitEthernet 0/0 cannot be member of portchannel or standby group because BMC LAN channel is configured.

What i did before configuring the Etherchannel was to configure Gi0/0 as a normal port in the lab to upgrade the firmware and register with the CM. Now when i try to change the ip address and configure Etherchannel it gives me the above error.

Any ideas fellas?

regards
