Anyone out there have an implementation where you've leveraging the WAE with AutoDesk Civil3D?

Running into some slowness issues with this software where it takes 5-10 minutes to load up a project and then 5 minutes to save it. I've got an e-mail out to our vendors asking the inner workings of Civil3D and how it behaves on the network.

Just basically wanted to see if anyone has used these two in combination.

Thanks

Shaun

I thought I would try and re-hash this post to see if anyone new since 2009 has used Civil3D successfully with the Cisco WAAS technology. We were unsuccessful in the past because Civil3D is a pig on the network to be honest and even locations that had 10/100 switches we needed to upgrade to 1GB switches to accomodated the additional traffic and throughput required to accomodate this software.

I'd be curious what other Engineering companies are doing with the WAE devices and would love some open discussions.

Thanks
