Hello everybody,

After my WAE-7341-K9 rebooted, it had a boot problem.

At the begin, it showed this menu:

    Press F1 for Setup

Press F2 for Diagnostics Controller started

Press F12 to select boot device

After I pressed F12, the WAE booted and run normaly. But in the boot logs, it showed me an error, this the output:

"

Controller monitor V5.2*0[11859], Controller kernel V5.2*0[11859]

Controller POST operation successful

Controller Memory Size: 256 MB

Controller WWN: 5005076B04056C9F

!!!CRITICAL ERROR: Memory retention failure, unflushed cache lost!!! "

Does somebody know which is the WAE boot sequence? or Does somebody know what means this error?

Thanks in advance for any comment.

José Luis

I understand the box is stuck in a loop and will not complete the boot up process.

It looks like the RAID controller physical cache has failed which is what would have caused your raid failure on the CM for this unit.
