topic GSS Software Versions in Application Networking

I upgraded a GSS 4480 (not 4490!) to version 1.1(1.1.0). It does seem to work properly, however, I get the following output from the status command:

#gss status

Cisco GSS - 1.1(1.1.0) - Sustaining Release GSSM - primary [Thu Oct 28 13:30:46 CEST 2004]

The SGSSM is running old, incompatible version. It will not backup configuration data.

I have no idea, what the SGSSM is...

Thanks for any help! Igi.

Sorry, I posted the question a bit too early. SGSSM stands for Standby GSSM and the error message warns that the SGSSM cannot take over from the Primary GSSM, because the versions are not compatible (the Standby GSSM still is on version 1.0).

Igi
