There is an option to specifically define the CIFS mss within the WAAS command line. Is this option not inherited from the Global TCP settings? Why is there a separate parameter? Thanks.

Michael,

It is specifically for the CIFS Application Optimization connections. All other connections use the TCP MSS settings. This setting will not be needed after WAAS 4.1.

Looking at the 4.1.1c code, I don't see a tcp mss command. Is this replaced by the mtu sub-interface command?
