stable versions of css code

I have a CSS11503 running v7.30.1.06. I was reviewing the newer versions of code and noticed a-lot of open issues in the release notes. Does anyone have an opinion which version is the most stable or if I should update at all?

you should definitely plan an upgrade to the latest 7.50 available on CCO.

I notice the 7.5 has a lot of open caveats related to SSL. I have an SSL module, should I not be worried about these open caveats?

if they exist in 7.50 they surely exist in 7.30 and 7.40 but if we get a fix it will only go in 7.50 and maybe 7.40 but most probably not 7.30.
