CSS Licensing questions

Hi... I have the following questions regarding WebNS software licensing:

Question 1:

We have recently purchased an upgrade license for CSS 11500 WebNS s/w from "standard feature set" to "enhanced". I want to try this enhanced version on a spare 11500 before deploying it to production. Now, when I followed the registration process on the claim certificate, it turns out that I'd have to put in the serial number of the h/w where I intend to install the s/w. My question is, once I install an enhanced s/w using this license on the spare CSS unit, will I be able to uninstall the enhanced s/w from the spare unit, and reuse the license for the production unit as it is intended?

Question 2:

Can 7.x license key be used for WebNS 8.1? How about vice versa?

Q1: no - the license is per CSS.

So if you want to test it in the lab, you need to buy a 2nd license for your lab and provide the serial number of the lab device.

Q2: licenses can be use with whatever version 7.x or 8.10
