Cisco prime 2.2 GUI login problem

Today for lab simulation I installed cisco prime 2.2 in esxi 5.5, installation successful but I am not able to login GUI of cisco prime, it give an error "invalid username and password ".

I tried the below steps:

NCS stop
NCS DB reinitdb
NCS start

but no luck to login to cisco prime 2.2, please advice.

First time login to the GUI

First time login to the GUI should use the username "root". Are you using that?

Have you tried changing the password from the cli:

conf t
username root password plain <new password> role admin
end
