Hello all

I'm configuring a VG202 using the MGCP protocol. However, I get no ringback tone when I call to pstn. where I mistake please suggest me.see config below.

Hi Nattapong,

It appears from the config that only one port is configured for VG202, even the two pots dial peers created by default are only for the same port 0/0. Can you check the cabling , do a shut / no shut on these voice ports and then reset the gateway from cucm.

Have you configured your fxs line in Call manager for the vg202 port 0/0?

Do you see the vg202 as registered? You may do the reset of the port via cucm GUi and not from the gateway itself.

-Yes I have configured fxs line already

Do you see the vg202 as registered?

-Yes I do please see log previously at show ccm-manager it registered already

Let me explain when I off-hook I get tone but when I call to pstn no ringback tone anyway at analog phone have ringing

Hi Nattapong, Since you now mention that the issue is 'No dialtone" , can you check if the no dialtone issue is seen for calls to PSTN or an IP phone registered to cucm ( assuming you have an Analog phone connected to the FXS port on VG202 ). Does the call actually connect and work despite the no ringback issue?

-Yes I have analog phone conncted FXS port

At port fxs I config DN 8888 can call to IP Phone it work fine.

In that case the troubleshooting needs to be done on cucm or the gateway / trunk on the outbound call leg through which the call is going out.
