How to get Company name Display on Cisco IP phone

What are the details of the setup, do you have a CUCM or CME? What kind of IP phones are involved and what is the exact call flow? Where would you like the company name to be displayed, for outgoing calls to PSTN ?

Its possible to change the background on the handset, you can put your company logo here (and it looks great!)

This depends on the handset you are using

For example for a 7945 handset...

You need to use image editing software (possible in MSPAINT)

You need two images -

320 x 212 pixels 16 bit Colours

080 x 053 pixels 16 bit Colours.

So you need to company logo image in these formats.

You then need a list.xml file that references these and then upload the 3 files to Call Manager.

That's the rough procedure...
