Hello John,

Amongst others, you need to consider the sizing, more specifically you will need share with us the number of users your Voice Gateway will need to serve.
You can find a lot of posts in the Community with comparison between CUCM and CME (stand-alone router).

Hi John,

You need a CUCM with CUBE or a CME to register your endpoints. CUBE will be used to configure your ITSP/ Service Provider for SIP channels.

CUCM--> SIP Trunk--> CUBE--> ITSP
