Red Light on CISCO 8841Phone Head Set Not Working

Office phone system was fine, but for the last week red light on head seat of all CISCO phone not NO... we use this light as to show notifications like for miss call etc.

Is it head phones or hand set ?

The red light you see on the handset is when some one leave a voice massage and we call it MWI message waiting indicator.

That’s mwi which gets turned on when some one drop a voicemail. You cannot use that a notification for missed call.

if you clear all mailbox the mwi light will get turned off.
