Hi everyone,

I am a newbie to Ip telephony and i have been trying to configure my cisco 2621XM as a call manager express however i have been facing dificulties with this, specifically with assigning the extension lines to ip phones. Whenever I input the "Router(config-telephony)#auto assign 4 to 6" i get "% Invalid input detected at '^' marker " at the number 4, I do not know why this is so and would appreciate if someone could help me figure this out. My router has 16mb of flash memory and is running a c2600-ipvoice-mz.123-9.bin ios file, thanks.

Looks for either command not accepted or any space after 6 not taking.

try :

auto assign ? (see what option you got ?)

Does ephone-dn 4 exist yet? If not, it will not let you assign the dn to this command.
