&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Choose the phone image carefully.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp; There are two images:&amp;nbsp; Enterprise image or 3PCC/MPP image.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;Enterprise image is cheaper but &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;may&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; require Cisco UCM to get the phone to work.&amp;nbsp; (Notice I said "may".)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;3PCC/MPP is slightly more expensive but can be independently configured using GUI to make the phone to work with Asterisk-based call manager.&lt;/LI&gt;
