    <description>&lt;P&gt;We currently have two C220 connect on N6K switches that are being replaced. The new switches are installed and configured accordingly. The C220 support our redundancy cucm, vm, contact center, expressways and so forth.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Typically, we should be able to move the C220 from one L2 to another L2 with minor hiccups. However, when something seems too simple, than questions should be asked!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm looking to see if there are any steps that should be reviewed, or processes taken before moving the devices.&amp;nbsp; Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What do you want to check on the UCS side, if the changes are made somewhere else?&lt;BR /&gt;You need to make sure, that the ports (where the UCS are connected) have the same config and that this new device is correctly configured.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the quick response. The ports have been configured the same, but when something seems too simple, sometimes you begin to overthink things. Again, this change should be as if there was a momentary loss of network at L2 and reestablish itself once restored. However, with impacting many critical systems, I wanted to double check things before moving cables.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you get the config on your new switch / router straight, there is nothing to overthink.&lt;BR /&gt;During the change, if you use multiple physical ports / adapters for redundancy in the ESXi, then you can switch port after port and see if you have reachability.&lt;BR /&gt;But before the change, there isn't really something to check, other then making big stunts for such a low outcome check.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
