call mgr ad integration

i'm installing a new call mgr 4.2.3. we will use ad integration. when the phones are being added via the bat tool should they be added as phones & users or just phones? is there anything user -wise that needs to be done on the cm prior to running the ad plugin?

rob,

you must first integrate ccm with AD to have the user in your corporate directory. then you can assign the user with phones or profiles manually or with BAT. The challenge is to know which user id (samAccountName) in AD has which mac-address.

If you have a list with userID and MAC you can make an BAT import.
