Have a look at the following docs;

Nortel Meridian 1 PIMG Integration Guide for Cisco Unity 4.0

The Nortel Meridian 1 integration with Cisco Unity provides the following integration features:

Call forward to personal greeting

Call forward to busy greeting

Caller ID

Easy message access (a subscriber can retrieve messages without entering an ID because Cisco Unity identifies the subscriber based on the extension from which the call originated; a password may be required)

Identified subscriber messaging (Cisco Unity identifies the subscriber who leaves a message during a forwarded internal call, based on the extension from which the call originated)

Message waiting indication (MWI)

From this doc;

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/prod_configuration_guide09186a0080430d68.html#wp1011528

Nortel Meridian 1/PBXLink Integration Guide for Cisco Unity 4.0

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/prod_configuration_guide09186a00801171e4.html

Dual Phone System Integration Guide for Cisco Unity 4.0

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/prod_configuration_guide09186a0080211b2e.html

Hope this helps!

Rob

Please remember to rate helpful posts.....

PBX phone to use Unity as mail system

Nortel Meridian PBX 81c/61c/11c integrate with CCM 4.13/Unity 4.04 and 6608. We want PBX phone to use Unity as mailbox system. Understand Cisco supports the other way around meaning that IP Phone can use meridian mail as mailbox system through QSIG. My situation is just reverse. We want to migrate mailbox to unity first, then 2nd phase migrate PBX phone to IP phone. Has anybody experienced this and will be problem. So far I can think MWI maybe a issue. Thanks
