Hi,

I've actually configured WRED with CBWFQ on a 7200 FE sub-interface ISL.

I've a "default-IP" and a "data-critic" class.

I test the Qos scheme when the link is a 110% of its "autorised" bandwidth.

The "data-critic" is putted at only 50% of its configured bandwidth , the "default-class" is putted at 250% of its configured bandwidth (in order to have 110% of charge of traffic on the link).

I see with the "packet generator" result and with "show policy-map" that about 1 to 4,5% of the packets of the "data-critic" class are dropped.

In fact, the mean queue is incremented at about 22 to 35 for the "data-critic" class.

My question is : is it normal to have the WRED mean queue of the "non-congested" class incremented when the link is congested by another class (in my case "default IP") or must the only "mean queue" of the "default-IP" be incremented ?

thanks in advance
