Hi All,

How/where do I configure an access-list to secure an ADSL interface that is configured for dynamic IP? Basically I just wanted to add only one or two lines to the ACL e.g.

access-list 102 permit tcp any host (dialer0 interface) established

access-list 102 deny ip any any log

inter dialer0

ip access-gr 102 in

If this can't be done then how does one secure a dialer interface that is configure for dynamic IP?

Hi,

that should work, but it isn't the most secure solution. You might want to check out the Cisco IOS integrated firewall:

(Commands might be different for your device...search for the software configuration guide for your model)
