    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I have an switch 2960 and i have made an SSH connection . But the problem is that whenever i try to open with my teraterm or putty it ask for username and after that password but does take the password. It shows an error of password what should be the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Commands that i entered to make SSH&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;config# username admin password pankaj&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;config# ip domain-name home.local&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;config# crypto key generate rsa&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;config# 1024&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;config# ip ssh version 2&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Two questions:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;In the &lt;STRONG&gt;line vty 0 15&lt;/STRONG&gt; section of the configuration, did you configure the &lt;STRONG&gt;login local&lt;/STRONG&gt; command?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Have you created any usernames using the &lt;STRONG&gt;username &lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;LOGIN &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;secret &lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;SECRET &lt;/EM&gt;in the configuration?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Peter&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
