topic More NFS mounts sharing the same TCP connection, will it cause a performance issue in Switching

In VMware world, there is a parameter on ESXi host, called MaxConnectPerIP, define how many NFS mounts can use over an IP. If the number exceeds the value, additional mounts will be starting to share the TCP connections.

My questions is, will many NFS mounts be the reason to cause a performance issue, and why?

In some articles about this parameter, they didn't mention anything about performance concern, so, I am asking networking experts here.

NFS mounts don't cause any performance issues on the network site.

HTH
