If you can still manually start a recording, the auto recording would not be enabled.

Is it possible to tell if your administrator has set up your webex to automatically record all of your activity? Or can they hide that function from you.

What activity are you referring to? Control Hub has statistics and reports for all calls and meetings that take place. It shows information such as times, participants, audio/video quality, client devices/OS/versions etc. In terms of recording the actual meetings, this can't be done without user/participant knowledge (as far as I know). Messages can not be seen by administrators, other than the compliance officer (if configured) who can run compliance reports by searching for key words.

Your Admin can set up your account to automatically record Video conferencing sessions. That said you would be aware of the recording. Webex would show that recording has started and provide an indication of that on your screen.

Is there a way they can hide that notification? Would it show up every time you open a meeting and would the other people see it everytime also. I have parents that are concerned about their privacy as we do virtual learning in their homes.

I am not aware of any way to hide this notification. It would show to everyone when the recording has started. Which if it is automatically enabled, would start as soon as the meeting has started.
