What is the use case for the change and do you have any information from Cisco that says that this is expected to work?

Good morning all!

We typically use a meeting address format of meeting#@tenant.webex.com but were recently asked to use meet@tenant.webex.com with the remote user manually entering the meeting number once connected. The problem with this is that it just isn't working.

When we dial the endpoint will connect but won't show audio or video and then just disconnects.

Is there something that we are missing?

Thank you all in advance.

By whom where you asked to change the format? If it works with the previous format, but not the new I would question the source of this information.

The federal government wants the change. It isn't a deal breaker but I still would like to know why it isn't working.
