      <description>&lt;P&gt;Why does Webex activate the desktop microphone when not in use?&amp;nbsp; It does this many times throughout the day.&amp;nbsp; I simply can not allow this to occur given the nature of my employment.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For sure. I’m well aware, just giving the OP an explanation on why this happens on a regular basis. Another option would be to enable Use Ultrasound when needed, ie when you have a need to connect with a video device.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
