Looking for the method that exposes the FTD Platform settings.

Devices--->Platform Settings.

I want to get at the Banner, External Authentication, SNMP, Syslog, etc options

Best way to get this done - Open a TAC case, get a bug. Only when a lot of customers need this, the feature would get added.
The community is a way to interact and get answers, but to get new features or enhancements - TAC is the way to go.

Platform Settings are not supported via REST API. As of today (6.7.0) there is no way to programmatically create, read, update or delete platform settings. I am not aware of any upcoming changes to this limitation.
